Magazine cover— for Brain

This project was incredibly exciting to be a part of! While being at Studio Lava in Amsterdam, we were commissioned to create the cover for Brain magazine in Japan. The brief was to develop artwork that represented the addictive creative process.

The concept I came up with was the idea to loose yourself to time and completely forget about day and night. The illustration is made with loose, squiggly lines and features a simple character, accompanied by a short rotating motion to further emphasize the idea.
